Everything went smoothly, I was able to assemble this by myself (while very pregnant I might add). And everything works perfectly.
I will note in case you didn’t see the images close enough, the desktop is two *separate* pieces, so if you’re not going to use a mousepad (specially for anyone gaming) I would go with one that has a solid top as opposed to this.
I have had no issues with sturdiness, though I do only keep my monitor, a keyboard and a mouse on it, as my pc sits on a stand. I did have it sitting on it very briefly before I finished my setup and it seemed to hold fine, but I did not raise or lower the desk at all at that point.

Desk is great for my son’s small bedroom. If you need more space on the desk, buy a laptop/monitor mount and set up a small desk riser. My son has his gaming set up (24 inch monitor, gaming lights, keyboard, mouse and 16 inch laptop) without feeling crowded. Also, being able to move the desk up makes it easier to deal with cords and cord control without hitting your head and mechanics of the desk are quiet. I will definitely buy from this company again.
